This piece began as an experiment — a challenge to create something beautiful using only donated and repurposed materials. It quickly evolved into a study of contrast: light vs. heavy, delicate vs. bold, whimsy vs. structure.
The garment features a canvas corset bodice boned with cable ties, topped with beaded flounces and tied with a laced back closure. A multilayered tulle skirt cascades into a dramatic train, adding volume and movement. Made entirely from gifted and salvaged fabrics, Frills and Bows is couture with a conscience — and a lot of personality.
